CITIZENS COMPASS — First Bank of Nigeria, on Wednesday, December 28, 2023, alerted its customers about new tactics by scammers especially during the Yuletide celebrations.

The commercial bank issued the warning on its X handle, formerly Twitter handle, adding that being scam conscious cannot be over emphasized.

It urged members of the public to be alert and conscious, noting that the bank will never redirect you to a WhatsApp group or telegram platform to address any complaints.

The Bank which was founded in 1894 cautioned that at no time should you disclose your personal information, including PIN, password and OTPs to anyone as it will never ask for such details.
