CITIZENS COMPASS —Angry youths in Imo State have reportedly beaten up a police officer for allegedly snatching election materials at a polling unit. 

It was learnt that the officer, alongside others, were attached to a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeduru Local Government Area.

They were said to have been instructed by the politician to snatch ballots at Amakohia Ikeduru Collation Center, where APC lost.

However, the community youths apprehended one while others took to their heels.

At press time, efforts to reach the newly redeployed Imo State Commissioner of Police, Danjuma Aboki were unsuccessful.
