Yoruba Indigenes Foundation visits Lagos Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde

 

CITIZENS COMPASS– In pursuit of its socio-cultural ideas across Yoruba land, the Yoruba Indigenes Foundation (YIF) Worldwide yesterday, paid a courtesy visit to Mr Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor.

YIF Worldwide team was led by its President, Dr Olumide Aderibole and the visit was held in the Alausa area of the State to facilitate development across the Yoruba region.

The visit afforded the Foundation to show serious concern about the security and other issues bordering on development in Lagos and other South West states.

Chief among the discussion was a Back to school project, ‘Osanle’ which aims to rid the State of street urchins popularly known as Area Boys.

The Chief of Staff expressed delight at the visit and expressed readiness to work with the Group in order to achieve this laudable project.

In a chat with Citizens Compass, the Yoruba leader highlighted the importance of ‘Osanle’ saying it would reshape the lives of many youths and curb youthful exorbitant in the State.

“The visit was long overdue. We were well received by the Chief of Staff as we are ready to set the ball rolling.” He said.

Alongside Dr Olumide were YIF Chairman, Chief Abiodun Fajobi and Prince Hakeem Adelodun Adeniyi, Director, Culture and Orientation.
