Yoruba Indigenes Foundation celebrates Awujale of Ijebu Land at 90
CITIZENS COMPASS – Dr Olumide Aderibole, the President of Yoruba Indigenes Foundation (YIF), has rejoiced with the Paramount ruler of Ijebu Land, Oba Dr. Sikiru Kayode Adetona as he turns 90 years of age.
In a press statement signed by Mr Sanjo Olawuyi, the Director of Communications and Strategies of Yoruba Indigenes Foundation. Aderibole praised the monarch for being a reliable traditional leader in the Yoruba race.
He said “The long reign of Awujale of Ijebu Land, Oba Dr. Sikiru Kayode Adetona, is epitomized with a series of landmark dynamics, which cumulate into developments and other favourable changes, not only in Ijebu Ode, but spread to all the surrounding towns and villages of Ijebu Ode”.
“The Awujale’s charismatic leadership style was instrumental in attracting infrastructures, peace and investments growth to his domain.
“Oba Dr. Adetona is public spirited, a philanthropic Kabiyesi of note whose impact spreads beyond his domain.
“Oba Dr. Sikiru Kayode Adetona, is one of the foremost custodians of traditional leadership in Nigeria. “The Awujale is innovative due to his style of rulership and governance.
