Yoruba Indigenes Foundation calls for release of Afenifere youth leader in Kidnappers’ den

 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS– Yoruba Indigenes Foundation (YIF) on Monday, called on Yoruba sons and daughters to rally round and secure the release of the National President of Afenifere Youths, Prince Eniola Ojajuni, who has been in kidnappers’ den for the past nine days.

YIF President, Dr Olumide Aderibole, on a chat with Citizens Compass, made the call following some video clips of the youth president soliciting for donations to aid his release.

In one of the videos released under duress, the captured Eniola was seen calling on Nigerians to help him out.

“Help me, your N50,000, N1,00,000, N1m will go a long way to secure my release. My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. Aderounmu, please, help me to share this video widely…”

It was learnt that the abduction occurred in Kogi state while Eniola was driving en route Abuja for a critical meeting.

The initial videos and photographs of Eniola suggested that he had sustained gunshot wounds on his buttock.

In one of the photographs, he was sitting uncomfortably in the bush. Information revealed that Eniola’s kidnappers are demanding a ransom of N100 million (One Hundred Million Naira).

Dr Aderibole called on Yoruba sons and daughters both home and abroad to rally round and secure Eniola’s release.

“Yoruba sons and daughters should arise and secure the release of Eniola. Let us make it a call to duty that one of us is in captivity.

“The kidnappers are demanding the sum of N100m. No amount is too.small.”
