AS NIGERIANS prepare for the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria and Liberia on Friday, the
Lagos State Government has announced temporary closure of some roads towards the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria and Liberia on Friday.
A statement signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, said the affected roafs are majorly in Surulere axis especially Stadium.
He said the roads will be closed at about Noon.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY AROUND SURULERE FOR TOMORROW’s FOOTBALL MATCH
There will be an international match between Nigeria and Liberia at Teslim Balogun stadium in Surulere on Friday 3rd Sep 2021.
As a result of this there will be temporary closure of roads at the following areas:
1. Service lane from baracks by the tip of stadium bridge
2. Alaka service lane to connect stadium
3. Movement from kilo, Masha through Shitta bridge to stadium will also be closed.
The closure will commence from 12 noon. Motorists should seek alternate routes for their movement within surulere during this period till the match will be concluded.
