VeryDarkMan arraigned, granted bail
CITIZENS COMPASS –Barely 24 hours after he was arrested by the Nigeria Police Force, popular blogger, Martins Otse also known as VeryDarkMan, has been arraigned for impersonation though was later granted bail in the sum of N2 million.
He was requested to provide two sureties in like sum.
Police authorities arraigned VeryDarkMan in a court on Friday for impersonation.
The court also ordered the sureties to deposit their international passports and any other means of identification.
The arraignment was brought about a viral video where he was seen wearing a police uniform.
The video shared by VeryDarkMan on his X Handle has since generated mixed reactions among social media influencers.
Popular human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, disclosed the ordeal of his client (VeryDarkMan) on his social media platforms thus: “Two million, two sureties in like terms. Sureties to deposit international passports, sureties to provide means of Identification. Sureties to depose an affidavit to provide the defendant during trial at all times.
“Prosecutor to verify sureties’ address. Sureties to provide utility bills, defendant to depose to affidavit to be available at all times during trial. Sureties to reside within the Court’s jurisdiction, particularly Abuja municipal.”
