UNKNOWN gunmen have reportedly attacked a camp in Abuja killing one person and injured many.
The incident reportedly occured on Friday, behind LEA Nomadic School, near Gwako Village, Gwagwalada area council, Abuja.
It was learnt that the incident occured when the gunmen invaded the area targeting some of the occupants for abduction.
One of the victims was identified as Goma Haruna.
The Secretary, Gwagwalada chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breaders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Mohammed Usman, said the incident has triggered tension in the camp over fear of the unknown.
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maryam Yusuf confirmed the incident.
According to her, operatives of the command have been mobilized to the area to track down the perpetrators.
