CITIZENS COMPASS – A roadside trader in Lagos, was on Wednesday, crushed to death around Mile 2 area of the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.
The incident occurred at about 6.30p.m inward Cele/Ijesha
An eye witness, Oluokun Ramoni, said the accident occurred due to brake failure.
He said a commercial motorcyclist popularly known as Okada rider escaped the accident.
According to him, “we were at the other side of the road when we noticed the accident which was caused by brake failure.”
A video of the accident captured the remains of the ris side trader by the roadside as sympathisers gathered at the scene.
The video captured a stool with a basket believed to be owned by the deceased.
The bike was also trapped beneath the truck.
