CITIZENS COMPASS– NOLLYWOOD actor, Kanayo O Kanayo says plans are underway to arrest Labour Party (LP), presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
He said some politicians are working behind the scene to achieve this.
The actor raised concerns over the safety of the Labour Party presidential candidate especially now that 2023 elections are gradually winding up.
Although Kanayo O Kanayo did not disclose how this will happen but hr said that indications emerged that the arrest will take place soon.
The post alleged ongoing conspiracy against the presidential candidate.
Kanayo who took to his Instagram page to disclose this said,
“Peter Gregory Obi will soon be arrested, Watch Out. The conspiracy is brewing, you want to bet?”
Recall that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, had called for Obi’s arrest for allegedly inciting violence.
Spokesperson for Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, Bayo Onanuga, accused Obi of making inflammatory statements following his loss at the presidential election.
Violence erupted in some parts of Nigeria following the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections, on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Ballot boxes were hijacked by hoodlums while visible intimidation and suppression led to vote apathy across the country.
The presence of security operatives could not curb the violence as political thugs operated unhindered.
