CITIZENS COMPASS – THREE suspects have jumped off a motorcycle on sighting Police in Agege area of Lagos State.
This occurred in Agege area of the state on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, during a route patrol of the area.
However, the operatives took a hot chase after them and arrested one of them.
The Police also recovered a locally made gun.
Residents of the area have applauded the effort and urged the operatives to continue combing Agege and it’s environs to rid criminals terrorising the area.
Spokesperson, Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this on one of his tweets,
“Today in Agege, three occupants of a tricycle, upon sighting ahead police officers from Abattoir Division, jumped out and took to their heels. The police gave hot chase and arrested Jamiu Ademefun aged 27, recovering from him a locally made pistol and two live cartridges.”
A resident of Agege, Tanko Mummeen said activities of suspected cultists and armed robbers have caused a lot of damages to both lives and property
