CITIZENS COMPASS – Suspected cultists have clashed in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital killing a member in the process.
The deceased simply identified as Segun populaly known as “Ojo Ibo’, also had his right wrist chopped off by his assailants.
The clash occurred at Bode-Olude area of the capital city.
Confirming the death on her X Handle on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, spokesperson, Ogun State Police Command, SP Omolola Odutola, said it occurred at about 2130hrs of 14th May, 2024.
“DEATH OF A CULTIST:15th May, 2024 One Segun aka “Ojo Ibo was killed and his right wrist chopped off, at about 2130hrs of 14th May 2024 after being chased by a rival cult at Bode Olude Junction. One Ishola Joseph, a cultist was nabbed and beaten while trying to escape.”
