CITIZENS COMPASS– The Super Eagles of Nigeria clinched a crucial 1-0 victory over Libya in a thrilling encounter, thanks to a late goal by Fisayo Dele-Bashiru in the AFCON 2025 Group D qualification match.
In a fiercely contested AFCON qualification match, both the Super Eagles and Libya struggled to find the back of the net, with Libya putting up a strong defensive display. However, Nigeria’s persistence paid off in the 86th minute when Dele-Bashiru fired home the decisive goal, breaking the deadlock and sealing the win for the Super Eagles.
