CITIZENS COMPASS– -AN accident involving a containerised truck and four other vehicles, on Saturday, claimed the life of a six-year-old in Isolo area of Lagos State.
This occurred at about 10am, at Iyana-Isolo under-bridge.
A father, his two children and other commuters were said to be among some commuters when the truck which was on top speed suffered brake failure.
While the six years old boys lost his life, his sibling, father and some others were said to be injured as the container fell by its side.
Eyewitnesses’ account said the truck was travelling from Apapa while the driver of a yellow bus popularlly known as Danfo was picking passengers without checking his side mirror.
It was gathered that the truck which was on speed fell by its side as soon as the bus sped off.
However four other vehicles were crushed by the truck.
Men of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were on ground.
The incident disrupted free flow of traffic inward Oshodi.
