CITIZENS COMPASS —Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, visited Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The visit was alongside other South West governors like Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti).

Olatunde disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
He said the governors discussed national and other issues affecting the region and the people.
However, Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, was conspicuously absent.
Adeleke was not represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, neither was there any reason for his absence.
At the meeting, Akeredolu who is also the Chairman of the South-West governors, thanked his colleagues “for their solidarity,” and “harped on continuous collaboration among the South-West States.”
On his part, Governor Makinde said the governors in the region are supporting and praying for Akeredolu.
The meeting came six weeks after Akeredolu returned to the country from Germany after being absent from Ondo for about three months.
