CITIZENS COMPASS– THE Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps also known as So-Safe Corps, Ijebu Ode Division, has apprehended a notorious robbery suspect and recovered two generating sets in the area.
The team was said to be on routine patrol with the directive of the Ijebu Zonal Commander, ACC Marcus Ayankoya at about 0530hrs on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
This is contained in the press statement issued from the Office of the State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Moruf Yusuf.
According to him, the suspect, Adegboyega Adesanya was apprehended having stolen two Okayama and Elepaq generating sets from a house at Adelaja Street, off Ondo Road in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area.
Ganzallo confirmed that during interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and pledged to reveal his ugly criminal operation techniques.
He noted that the suspect some weeks ago had been accused of breaking into a poultry at Idomowo, Ijebu Ode and escaped arrest with a large number of fowls.
Ganzallo said the suspect together with the exhibit had been transfered to the Nigeria Police Force, Obalende Divisional Police Headquarter for further investigation and likely prosecution.
