Residents apprehend ‘mad man’ for kidnapping five children in Lagos

CITIZENS COMPASS –Residents of Lagos Island in Lagos State, have apprehended a mentally unbalanced man found to be in possession of five children.
The incident recently occurred at Isale-Eko, Oju Irowo, in the Folumo area.
A viral video captured a mammoth crowd thronging the scene of the incident with a female background voice urging people to come around and identify the children.
The background noise said the lunatic claimed to have brought the children from Ijora in a bid to sell each child for N50,000.
The voice claimed the man was apprehended at his hideout.
She called on people looking for missing children to visit the scene to identify them.
As the name suggests, Folumo means a cleansing to society. It is adjuged to be the security hub of Isale-Eko in Lagos.
