CITIZENS COMPASS– A video capturing the moment a Muslim woman fainted on the roadside while steadfastly refusing to break her fast during Ramadan has sparked a conversation on social media.

The incident, which was documented by a bystander, unfolded as the woman, identified as Alhaja, collapsed while walking along the road. Passersby rushed to her aid, administering first aid measures and waking her up by sprinkling water on her face.

In an attempt to stabilize her condition, onlookers offered Alhaja a malt drink, but she adamantly declined, citing her ongoing fast for the holy month of Ramadan. Despite numerous pleas from those around her, she remained resolute in her decision not to consume anything, even for hydration purposes.
