Former Lagos State Military Governor, General Raji Rasaki (Rtd) has mourned the death of his colleague, General Adetunji Olurin.
The message titled “Condolence message on the exit of an elder statesman, General Adetunji Idowu Olurin,” reads:
“With a heavy heart, I commiserate with the Members of the 3rd Regular Course of NDA Alumni Association, The General Public and particularly the Olurin family for the painful exit of their Patriarch,an accomplished elder statesman and an Army General.
“Hmm… Why are the mighty fallen? A question I have no answer. Nevertheless, it is worthy to note that we will miss him greatly. I pray for his sweet repose and may God grant the 3rd Course Members, his family, The general public, The Government and good people of Ogun,Oyo,Ekiti, The Armed Forces and Nigerians the fortitude to bear the monumental loss.”
