Protesters to storm High Court, plan Version 2.0

… As #EndSARS protesters regain freedom

 

CITIZENS COMPASS—The #EndBadGovernance protesters on Thursday, instructed its members to converge on Abuja High Court in solidarity with some of their

arrestedmembers who would be arraigned on Friday.

One of the organisers of the protests, the Take it Back (TIB) Movement announced the information on its X Handle.

It called for the immediate release of the arrested members describing their travail as illegal.

The post reads, “Join us as we gather at the Abuja High Court tomorrow, Friday, 23rd of August by 7AM to show solidarity and demand the immediate release of persecuted and illegally detained #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters who are facing charges.”

Similarly, the group disclosed on its X Handle that that the Version X of the protests would takes place on Tuesday , October 1, 2024, to press home it’s demand.

TIB titled the October protests as #Fearless saying, “#FearlessInOctober : As Tinubu Regime continue to squander our commonwealth and imposing wicked policies on the masses, Nigerians must rise to SAY NO TO BAD GOVERNANCE. GET READY FOR END BAD GOVERNANCE IN NIGERIA PROTEST 2.0”

Similarly, it announced that after four years of incarceration, six #EndSARS protesters regained their freedom on Thursday,”

He stated that they were released by the Ogba Magistrates court.

It disclosed this on its X Handle, “ the Lagos state coordinator of the Take It Back Movement received 6 EndSARS inmates released today by the Ogba Magistrate court.”

Citizens Compass reported that the nationwide protests against hunger took place between August 1 and 10, 2024.

Some of the protesters were arrested in the process.
