CITIZENS COMPASS —Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, on weekend, performed at an event organised by a branch of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC).
He was seen wearing white dress.
The performance which has been generating controversies was captured in a viral video.
The Citizens Compass had reported that a CCC branch had invited the singer to perform alongside his colleague, Wasiu Alabi popularly known as Pasuma at a Praise Night bit this sparked controversy among many Nigerians especially the social media users.
Due to the outbursts by Nigerians, CCC Headquaters sent representatives to the branch to find out why it extended invite to Portable but the branch insisted that its intention was purely for soul winning.
The church said this was not its first time of inviting worldly musicians for soul winning.
He went further to say that Portable had been given guidelines to follow which he had agreed to.
Over the weekend, the social media was awash at the singer who was dressed in white was captured in a video performing to a teeming population of worshippers.
Portable’s appearance in the Church has stirred reactions from social media users.
