Popular APC chieftain dies at 48
CITIZENS COMPASS – A Chieftain of the The All Progressives Congress (APC) Isaiah Edegbo, has died at the age of 48.
Until his death, he was the party’s Deputy Director at the National Secretariat. He died on Monday, October 28, 2024.
APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, announced the death on Tuesday, in a statement.
describing Edegbo as a dedicated staff member whose contributions to the party would be deeply missed.
Edegbo who hailed from Kogi State attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained a Diploma in Civil Law in 1997, an LL.B (Hons) in 2003, and an LL.M in Public Law in 2016. At the time of his passing, he was actively pursuing a Ph.D. in Commercial Law.
Despite being a trained lawyer, Edegbo was renowned within the APC for his intelligence, diligence, and reliability, significantly contributing to the party’s successful congresses, conventions, and election activities over the years.
Morka expressed the party’s condolences, stating that Edegbo’s death leaves a substantial void within the APC’s organizational team. He will be remembered for his invaluable service and dedication to the party.
