CITIZENS COMPASS – Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspect, Naziru Mohammed, while robbing some stranded passengers in Agege area of the state.
Spokesperson of the Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, in one of his tweets on Thursday, said men of Isokoko Division made the arrest.
He said the suspect was operating with his gang members when he was arrested.
The spokesperson said the gang members fled the scene on sighting the police but Naziru was not that lucky.
” Naziru Mohammed and his gang attacked and robbed stranded passengers after their vehicle broke down. Men of Isokoko Division got wind of it swiftly arrived the scene. Naziru was arrested while efforts are on to apprehend his members who fled.”
