CITIZENS COMPASS– The Lagos State Police Command, on Tuesday, said it has foiled an armed robbery incident along Layeni Ojo Road, Ajegunle and arrested two suspects onMonday, at about 0630hrs.
It gave the suspects’ names as Azeez Anofi ‘m’ aged 25, a.k.a. Stainless and Damilare Obadia ‘m’, aged 25, who had attempted to snatch a tricycle, popularly known as Keke Marwa.
The suspects were arrested by operatives of Layeni Division.
Following the arrest, one locally made pistol and one expended cartridge were recovered from the suspects. Further investigation has commenced to arrest other suspects and recover other operational weapons.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, while commending the swift response of the officers, urges the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police for appropriate action.
