CITIZENS COMPASS —Lagos State Police Command said it has arrested a male suspect during a Stop and search exercise in Ketu area of Lagos.
Spokesperson of the Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this on his X handle popularly known as Twitter on Tuesday. He said the suspect was in possession of 24 locally made pistols at the point of the arrest.
“While on stop and search duty at Y Junction, Ketu on November 27, 2023, officers of Ketu Division found in possession of one Solomon Ogunnike ‘m’ aged 24 three locally made single barrel pistols wrapped in a brown cloth.
The suspect has been arrested and investigation is ongoing.
