PDP Chieftain quits party 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS—A Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Osun State, Oluwole Oke, has dumped the party.

Oke is a six-term member of the House of Representatives from the State.

He urged his followers to also quit the party while he decides the next line of action.

The party chieftain has represented the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State for six terms.

According to him, he tendered his resignation letter following consultation with his political associates, friends, and family.

In the letter dated April 16, 2025, addressed to the PDP chairman in Ward 7 of Obokun Local Government Area, made his resignation official and urged his followers to follow him.
