CITIZENS COMPASS – A Nigerian pastor has sparked controversy after he was captured praying for an individual involved in online fraud, commonly referred to as a “Yahoo-Yahoo,” in broad daylight, with the hope that the individual would successfully “cash out.”
Although it did not capture where and when the prayer session occurred but the pastor was captured praying fervently for his client.
The incident unfolded in a public street, where the pastor was observed offering prayers for the yahoo-yahoo man, while onlookers witnessed the unusual scene.
In a video that surfaced on social media, the Yahoo boy knelt on the ground as the pastor fervently prayed for him. The pastor’s words during the prayer included requests for the fraudster’s clients to make payments and concluded with a resounding “amen.”
It was learnt that the shocking clip of the pastor praying for the yahoo-yahoo boy got the attention of some in the online community who reacted with amazement.
The video has generated criticism from Nigerians.
