CITIZENS COMPASS– An Uber driver who resides in Sango, Ogun State, has narrated how a passenger stabbed him many times and dispossessed him of his Toyota Camry car in Lagos State.
The incident occurred over the weekend.
However, the Police in Lagos swung into action, recovered the car around Oshodi and arrested the suspect after the driver incidented the incident at Isokoko Division.
The suspect, identified as Kelvin Musa ‘m’ was said to have boarded his car at NITEL by Old Abeokuta Motor Road, Agege, to Marriott Hotel, GRA Ikeja.
On getting to Ile- Zik, the passenger brought out a sharp knife, stabbed him all over his body and later dispossessed him of the vehicle.
Confirming the incident on Monday, spokesman for the Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, gave the details thus, “On 22/02/25 at about 2230hrs one ‘m’ an Uber driver of Sango Otta, Ogun State, reported at Isokoko Division that at about 1934HRS of same day, a passenger named Kelvin Musa ‘m’ boarded his Toyota Camry car at NITEL by Old Abeokuta Motor Road, Agege, to Marriott Hotel, GRA ikeja.
On getting to Ile- Zik along the way, the passenger brought out a sharp knife, stabbed him all over his body and later dispossessed him of the vehicle. Based on the report, a team of policemen later trailed the vehicle to oshodi where the suspect was intercepted he was immediately arrested and the vehicle recovered from him to the station. The victim was later taken to the hospital for treatment. Investigation into the case is in.progress.”
