Ooni takes new wife, Elizabeth
CITIZENS COMPASS – Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has introduced his 7th, wife, Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda to the public.
Recall that the monarch married six wives within a space of two months in Year 2022 and the 7th wife came barely seven months after.
Ooni’s former Queen, Silekunola recently celebrated her 30th birthday amidst rumours that she may return to her matrimonial home but she has since dispelled this saying she has moved on with life.
Before the marriage got broken, Naomi took to her Instagram page and wrote that she has tried her best to make things work in the marriage, yet, they did not work.
Previously, the monarch got married to Queen Naomi but the wedding crashed.
Having waited for some time without a queen in his palace, the Ooni embarked on wedding spree at about the last quarter of last year and married six queens.
They are: Mariam Anako, September 6, 2022; Elizabeth Akinmudai and Tobiloba Philips, October 9, 2022, Ashley Adegoke, October 14, 2022; Ronke Ademiluyi, October 20, 2022; and Temitope Adesegun, Monday, October 24, 2022
He was said to have taken his 7tb wife sometime on May 10, 2023, and is set to officially welcome her into his Royal Palace of Oodua in Ile-Ife.
It was learnt that Invitations for the thanksgiving service and reception of the new queen have reportedly been distributed.
The event billed for Saturday, May 20, 2023 will be preceded by the traditional entry of the Queen into the ancient Ife Oodua Palace of Ile-Ife on Thursday.
