CITIZENS COMPASS– WITHIN a space of two months, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, on Monday, has married the 6th wife.
She is Princes Temitope Adesegun, a native of Ijebu Land in Ogun State and this increase the number of Ooni’s wife to six within two months.
They are; Mariam Anako, September 6, 2022; Elizabeth Akinmudai; Tobiloba Philips, October 9, 2022; Ashley Adegoke, October 14, 2022; and Ademiluyi, October 20, 2022.
The traditional wedding was held in Magodo area of Lagos State.
The monarch on Thursday, October 20, 2022, married his fifth wife and founder of African Fashion Week, Ronke Ademiluyi, who is the great-granddaughter of the 48th Ooni of Ife, Ajagun Ademiluyi.
Recall that since Ooni’s marriage to Naomi Silekunola failed in December 2021, the monarch has since married five women in less than two months.
