CITIZENS COMPASS– IN what could be described as a low key celebration, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has married a fourth wife yesterday.
Princess Ashley Adegoke, was married in a traditional way
The wedding occured less than 15 days after the monarch married his third wife, Tobi Philips.
The the new bride was ushered in by some traditional rulers and chiefs in the palace of Ile-Ile, Osun State though the groom was said to be attending to other engagements at the time the new queen was received.
The wedding was held at Olubose Street, along Ede road, Ile Ife to conclude all necessary rites that would allow them take Queen Ashley to the king’s palace.
The wedding was the fourth withing a space of one month.
The first was Queen Mariam in who was married in September followed by Queen Elizabeth Ogunwusi , Tobi
Phillips, who was married on October 9, 2022 and the latest, Princess Ashley Adegoke
