CITIZENS COMPASS – A tricycle passenger has reportedly died while others were injured on Sunday, when a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) crushed the tricycle at Idowu-Egba area, along Isheri-Igando road in the Alimosho Local Government, Lagos State.
As gathered, the tricycle was conveying a family of four when the accident occurred at about 7 a. m.
It was learnt that the driver of the SUV, who was heading towards the Igando area was on top speed when he lost control, skidded across the median and rammed into oncoming vehicles, including two commercial buses and a tricycle.
While the commercial buses were partially affected, one person on the tricycle died instantly.
This was said to have compounded the perrenial gridlock in the axis but traffic officials in the area wee said to have activated emergency response.
