Ondo Governor nominates Sowore, others as commissioners, special advisers
CITIZENS COMPASS —Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has nominated six commissioners and three special advisers.
This was announced through his chief press secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Friday, February 2, 2024.
Governor Aiyedatiwa formally presented the names of the Commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for the mandatory processes of screening and confirmation.
The nominees for the Commissioner positions are Mrs. Omowumi Isaac, ACCA, Mr. Olukayode A. Ajulo, SAN, Engr. Razaq Obe, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan, Barrister Akinwumi Sowore, and Mr. Oseni Oyeniyi. Each nominee brings a unique set of skills and expertise, reflecting the governor’s commitment to diversity and proficiency within his team.
Additionally, Governor Aiyedatiwa appointed three Special Advisers, further enriching the advisory structure of the state government. The appointees include Hon. Olugbenga Omole as the Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Mrs. Olamide Falana as the Special Adviser on Gender Affairs, and Mr. Alabi Johnson as the Special Adviser on Energy.
