CITIZENS COMPASS –It is more feathers to the cap for the Board Member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan as he received the letter of nomination for the African Illustrious Awards 2024 which is ‘conferred on individuals and organizations who have excelled in leadership, philanthropy, community development, business, academia, technology, education, agriculture, and entrepreneurship across Africa’, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
The letter of nomination signed by Prof. Harris Madueke for the awards committee noted that Dr. Ayo Ogunsan is found worthy for this ‘Award of Excellence and Special Recognition’ for his immense contributions to the world of business and enterprise, security and public governance, and charitable causes. “The Africa Illustrious Award is a revered and prestigious African honour, conferred on individuals and organisations who have excelled in leadership, philanthropy, community development, business, academia, technology, education, agriculture, and entrepreneurship across Africa.
“Consequently, the African Illustrious Award seeks to search, discover, and recognise highly distinguished Africans who have been exceptional in private and public service. This recognition is in line with our vision to project and promote excellence in Africa, not as an exception, but as a consistent pattern in the modern African experience.
“Pursuant to the above, our team of seasoned professionals, distinguished researchers, a special panel, and the public, after due diligence, have found you worthy to receive the prestigious Award of Excellence and Special Recognition.”
The Chairman of Executive Group and Board Member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan expressed his gratitude for the laudable recognition. He assured that he will continue to demonstrate tireless dedication to the task of promotion of safety and security, entrepreneurial development, and youth participation in Nigeria and Africa at large.
The Africa Illustrious Award ceremony is slated for 21st of June 2024, at the Oriented Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The new Chairman of Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices, POCACOV, Dr. Ogunsan will join other trailblazing African awardees across the continent to be honored in Lagos for their outstanding contributions and developments to the society.
