CITIZENS COMPASS – The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) has announced Friday, 7th and 8th February, 2025 as the date for its 2025 Annual Retreat.
The Retreat which is to take place at the Conference Hall Lokoja has His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, CON. The Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy as the Special Guest of Honor and Mr. Bola Oyebamiji FCIB, MD/CEO as the Host.
Suleiman Makama, NIWA AGM (Corporate Affairs), in a statement, said the discussion at the retreat will center on the following among others;
KPI review for 2024 and outlook for 2025
Revenue performance for 2024 and targets for 2025
Organizational effectiveness, and communication.
It may be recalled during the 2024 Performance Bond signing retreat, the MD of NIWA Mr. Bola Oyebamiji said the objective of the retreat is to discuss and have a working template upon which the aspirations of Mr. President on Inland Waterways through the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, will be achieved.
This year 2025 retreat will have the Management and all Area Managers in attendance.
