New Bayelsa NSCDC Commandant harps on diligent service
CITIZENS COMPASS —The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Bayelsa State Command now has a new Commandant in the person of Eweka Okoro Douglas, National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) can report.
On assumption of the new position, NAOSNP can report that Eweka, who is well-known for excellent discharge of duty and strong stance against criminals who attack national assets and infrastructure, tasked his men to prosecute the Corps’ mandate without compromise. He also asserted the importance of fulfilling the vision of NSCDC as he engaged with the officers in Bayelsa state command.
He reminded them that the Commandant-General of NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Audi will leave no stone unturned to guarantee their welfare.
Before taking over in this new role as Commandant, NSCDC Bayelsa Command, the Edo-born Eweka Douglas was formerly at the NSCDC Zonal Command HQ in Osun state. Previously, he was the Commandant in charge of NSCDC Lagos Command.
