NAOSNP happy at Gaidam’s retention, elevation of Sulaiman-Ibrahim at Police Affairs ministry 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS – Frontline security news beat association, National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) is excited about the development within the Ministry of Police Affairs which saw the retention of Senator Ibrahim Gaidam as the Minister in the Ministry while the Minister of State for Police Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim was promoted to the position of the substantive Minister of Women Affairs in the cabinet reshuffle which happened during the week.

The security news beat association hailed the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Pres. Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for his due recognition of the immense performance within the Ministry of Police Affairs and for validating his confidence in both Ministers to keep them in the Federal Executive Council.

Speaking on behalf of the association, the National President of the association, Comrade Oki O. Samson, cited that ‘both Senator Ibrahim Gaidam and Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim demonstrated a great working relationship and team spirit in the Ministry of Police Affairs. This is why the ministry delivered credibly on all fronts. It impacted positively on the Nigeria Police Force and the entire security architecture.’

On Minister Gaidam, ‘We are assured that the high standards and optimum service delivery which is done so far will be maintained and the Ministry of Police Affairs will continue to rank high in the President Tinubu administration.’

While congratulating the new Minister of Women Affairs, NAOSNP President, Oki urged that she continue her giant strides towards the attainment of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President. ‘We salute your bold initiatives such as the Community Town Hall engagement which you championed for the Renewed Hope Policing Agenda during your time as Minister of state. We also recall your great input and influence during your time at NAPTIP.’

‘Now that you are the substantive Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, we want you to drive the initiatives which will lead to the empowerment, inclusion, and growth of women in Nigeria in line with the agenda of President Tinubu.’

‘You are a great personality. You have distinguished yourself as an exemplary public servant with the values of diligence, commitment, and excellence. Continue to excel’, NAOSNP concluded.

‘In the same vein, we urge you to complement and collaborate effectively with the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative RHI which is shaping girlchild education, women leadership, and other women issues.’
