CITIZENS COMPASS —Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo is still in mourning period over the loss of the Nigerian singer, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Recall that Mohbad, a former artiste signed to Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at the age of 27 under unclear circumstances on September 12.
He died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and was buried the following day.
The death sparked controversies that warranted the Nigeria Police to exhume his bodu for burial.
Five persons are currently being detained in connection with the death.
In her tribute to Mohbad, Ojo has revealed that his final wish to her, which he expressed while he was in the UK, was to create a TikTok video together.
Regrettably, she had no idea that this wish would remain unfulfilled. Now, Ojo is honouring his memory by making TikTok videos in his remembrance.
She has made a promise to Mohbad, pledging to persist in her efforts until she achieves justice for his untimely death.
“Imole, your last request to me in the UK was to create a TikTok video with you once I returned to Nigeria, but sadly, I didn’t realize it would become my tribute to you… . Regardless of the distractions, I will not give up until,” she wrote.
