CITIZENS COMPASS —CONTRARY to speculations that the remains of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad had been returned to the grave, Citizens Compass can authoritatively revealed that the corpse has been deposited at the morgue.
This was confirmed by the Nigeria Police Force on Friday, September 22, 2023.
Recall that the remains was removed from the grave the previous day for autopsy report to be conducted on the body.
Spokesperson, Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, in his tweets said the autopsy report had been conducted and results being awaited.
The singer who lived in the Ajah area of Lagos died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and was buried at Gberigbe area of Ikorodu, Lagos the day after.
Since the autopsy report had been conducted on the body, there is anxiety among the fans, friends and acquaintances of the singer who are anxiously waiting the result.
A cross section of Nigerians who spoke with our Correspondent yesterday, said many youths are waiting for the slightest opportunity to spark violence.
Spokesperson, Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday during a telephone conversation, said the body has been deposited at the mortuary.
He said, “It is at the mortuary.”
It will be recalled that on Thursday, many people took advantage of the candle light organised for the late singer, to converge on Lekki Tollgate to fan an ember of discord.
However, Police were quick to read their body language and dispersed them with teargas canisters.
