CITIZENS COMPASS –The Justice for Mobhad Group in Nigeria and diaspora yesterday, expressed displeasure over the autopsy result of the late singer, Ileri-Oluwa Aloba popularly known as Mobhad.

They expressed their displeasure at a  news conference at Ikorodu town hall, Lagos, where the singer had his last performance  before he died.

Mr David Nowoola, representing the entertainment industry, appreciated the father and everybody  fighting for justice for the late singer.

He expressed  displeasure over the delay from the pathologist who said the cause of the death was not certain.

Nowoola, commended the court for granting approval for other witnesses to come to court and share their testimony regarding the death of the singer.

“The autopsy is just one of the variables of  fact finding, thankfully the court has approved for parties to the issue to bring other witnesses.

“The current stage of the report preempted the call for another witness  that will be cross examined to elicit facts ,” he said.

Also, Mrs Grace Shonde, celebrated Mobhad’s father,  Mr Joseph Aloba, for standing in place of a woman to get justice for his son,  adding that he would remain in history.

Fielding questions from journalists, Shonde said that Mobhad passed away in very terrifying and questionable circumstances, so, they have to collaborate and ensure that justice is served at the end.

Also, one of the organisers, Mr Oluwaseun Aromolaran, urged everybody to be consistent in the struggle to get justice for Mohbad and never relent.

He said  the country has engaged more than four corona inquests on the death of prominent Nigerians which ended without unraveling them.

“We should not be discouraged until justice is served for the late singer.

“”Most of the corona inquests in the country have never yielded  positive result.

“A big example is the death of Chief Moshood Abiola(MKO), till now, nobody has an idea of how he died.

“It is necessary to conduct another autopsy test  to unravel more facts,” he said.

Mobhad’s father thanked the Lagos State Government for its support and appealed that a private pathologist conduct autopsy and DNA tests of his grandchild.

Meanwhile, a group of protesters on Monday stormed the headquarters of the National Medical Services Laboratories in Pennsylvania, the United States over the outcome of a toxicology test reportedly conducted in the facility to determine the cause of death of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
