CITIZENS COMPASS– TWO suspects are currently cooling their heels with Lagos State Police Command for defrauding a woman to the tune of N7.5m in Ikorodu area of the state.
The money was meant to seek spiritual help from the duo unfortunately she was duped.
The suspects were apprehended when they arranged to get another batch of funds from the victim.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Command Spokesperson who disclosed this on his verified Twitter handle said investigation is ongoing.
“In Ikorodu, these two duped a woman to the tune of N7.5m under the guise of providing ‘spiritual help.’ She realized the fraud and approached the police. They were apprehended when they arranged to get another batch of funds from her. Investigation is ongoing.”
