Meet Chairman, Lagos Taskforce, Adetayo Akerele
CITIZENS COMPASS—The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offenses (Enforcement) Unit (Taskforce) has released the details of its new Chairman, CSP Akerele Adetayo Oluwasegun.
The new portrait of the Chairman was also released in an official statement released by the Agency on Wednesday.
“He’s the immediate past Officer in Charge/Commander of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) enforcement Squad, from where he was meritoriously elevated with an appointment to Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce) as Chairman, by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Monday, June 25, 2024.
“He had before then, also served as the Second in Command (2ic) at the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce), Bolade, Oshodi; he previously served as Human Rights Officer at Sango Police Station in 2016 and as Sector Commander for the IGP Task Force on Anti-Pipeline Vandalism from 2012 to 2016.’
“He is happily married with children.”
