CITIZENS COMPASS – AS workers across the globe celebrated May Day yesterday, Lagos State Councillors’Forum has joined its voice to commemorate with the workers.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Forum, Alimi Nurudeen and Secretary, Wale Fayemi on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, and made available to Citizens Compass said the Worker’s Day is a special one that needs be celebrated among workers.
The Forum appreciate workers’ struggles, gains, contributions and sacrifices to the well – being of our dear country.
He enjoned them to be steadfast in their pursuits.
The statement reads, ” This is a special day in our national calendar as observed in many countries.
It is called in various countries as May Day, Labour Day and Worker’s Day.
