CITIZENS COMPASS – Many students of Saints Academy in Jos, Plateau State, were feared dead on Friday, June 12, 2024, when one of the school buildings collapsed on them.
There incident threw residents, parents and guardians into panic.
The two-storey building reportedly collapsed at about 8:30 a.m when academic activities were ongoing.
Reports said some of the students were injured but sympathisers and emergency responders quickly swung into action.
Saint Academy is located at the Busa Buji community in Jos North Local Government Area of the State.
Reports said that parents, guardians and well wishes rushed to the scene upon the report of the incident.
Rescue operation was ongoing at press time.
