CITIZENS COMPASS –An engine roller has reportedly crushed a company worker to death along the Sagamu-Ogijo Expressway, Ogun State.
The incident occurred at KAM Steel Integrated Company.
27-year-old worker, Yahaya Ibrahim, met his untimely death at about 4:50 a.m on Sunday, July 7, 2024, when he slipped and fell on the machine.
It was gathered that his co-workers rallied round to rescue him but their efforts yielded no result.
Confirming the incident.on Sunday, spokesperson, Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, said the deceased’s body had been taken to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital morgue.
“Our men on traffic inspection visited the scene when we received a distress call. It was an industrial accident. The body has been deposited at the OOUTH morgue in Sagamu.”
