CITIZENS COMPASS – Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), has ordered immediate repair of the pedestrian bridge serving Alapere/Ketu axis of thr State.
Thr Agency disclosed this in a statement issued by its Permanent Secretary, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, on Friday, August 4, 2023.
According to LASEMA, the repair work became necessary following the damage noticed on the bridge which poses a danger to it.
“The attention of the agency has been drawn to the damage on the above mentioned pedestrian bridge which poses a danger.
” The relevant authorities are conducting urgent repairs while the bridge is cordoned off in the interests of public safety.
“There is no immediate cause for alarm.
