AS part of the on-going COVID-19 mass vaccination campaign exercise tagged: *Count Me In! 4 Million Lagosians Vaccinated Against COVID-19*, one of the mobile vaccination teams visited the Lagos State Secretariat Community Central Mosque, Alausa-Ikeja today to vaccinate worshippers who came to observe the Friday jumat service.
The large turnout of worshippers at the mosque afforded the mobile vaccination team the opportunity to inoculate over 200 people.
An international Media outfit, Agence France-Presse (AFP) News was on hand to witness and cover activities of the mobile vaccination team. The Incident Manager of Lagos COVID-19 Response, Dr. Ismail Abdul-Salam who was also at the mosques for prayers, fieded questions from the AFP News crew.
