Lagos Taskforce hosts thanksgiving, end-of-year party
CITIZENS COMPASS – The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit (Taskforce), held its end-of-year party over the weekend, marking the conclusion of 2024 and welcoming the new year in grand style.
The event, hosted by the Chairman of the Agency, CSP Adetayo Akerele, was a lively celebration attended by staff members and distinguished guests, all elegantly dressed for the occasion.
The highlight of the evening was the recognition of the special guest of honour, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi, the immediate past Chairman of the Agency. In a heartfelt ceremony, the Taskforce presented him with a plaque of honour, with encomiums delivered by CSP Akerele, who described him as an astute leader, teacher and mentor. He praised CSP Egbeyemi for laying the solid foundation that has elevated the Lagos State Taskforce to its current esteemed status.
In attendance, also were both the General Manager’s of Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps,Major Olaniyi Cole rid, Prince Ifalade Oyekan of Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps, the Mobile Court coordinator Mrs Arinola Ogbara-Banjoko, Mr Mogaji and other Dignitaries from both public and private sectors.
The joyous celebration was a testament to the accomplishments of the past year and set a hopeful tone for 2025.
