Lagos NSCDC Commandant bags Fellow in criminology
CITIZENS COMPASS – Lagos State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, on Monday, June 12, 2023, hss added another feather to his cap as he has been conferred a Fellow of the Institute of Criminology and Strategic Studies Nigeria (ICSS).
This was conferred on him in the state, to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day.
The Commandant commended the Federal Government of Nigeria ( FGN ) and the Lagos State Government ( LASG ), for their unprecedented and proactive efforts towards enhancing national security in our democracy.
Addressing newsmen, at a Lecture and an Award ceremony organized, by the Institute, the Commandant, called on the three tiers of government, in the nation, to perceive the consistent and continuous, engagement and inclusion of the youth as one of the major panacea to enhancing national security in the nation amongst many other vital solutions.
The event took place at Lagos State University ( LASU ).
Commandant Alfadarai is a graduate of Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State.
He was honoured alongside other personalities in the country, such as Prof Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji – Bello, Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University and Prof Ibrahim Bakare, Director of same University among others.
