CITIZENS COMPASS– THE newly installed monarch of Lakowe Town in Ibeju Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State, Oba Hakeem Olusegun Ojomu, the Onilakowe of Lakowe, has thrown his weight behind Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) vowing to mobilise residents to vote for him during the 2023 elections.
The traditional ruler disclosed this after his installation and presentation of the staff of office by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu,.
The governor was represented by the Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Bolaji Roberts.
The monarch thanked the governor for bestowing the people of Lakowe Town with the great honour.
The Special Adviser urged the people of Lakowe Town to rally round all the newly installed obas and join hands with them for the growth and progress of Ibeju-Lekki Kingdom, and of Lagos State.
The Alakowe said, “I assure my people that there will be unprecedented progress during my time; they should join hands together with us. I don’t have any enemies, let’s work together. We will also work with the government, and I assure our governor that I will deliver the votes of Lakowe for APC.
